Are you restless like me?

Jenna's former blog. It will still be here, but she will not be here.

"I don't want to, it might explode."

I challenge cell phone manufacturers to design a way for your cell phone to tell you how much gas is in your car's tank. Now that would be handy.

I went out running errands with Manda today. It was actually sort of fun, aside from her bugging me to let her smoke in my car most of the way.

Oh yeah, I was sick yesterday. But I slept for like 20 hours and now I feel pretty much better. Nothing a little advil can't help.

My car's horn makes me giggle.

Everyday has a beginning and ending.

Today hasn't been all that great so far. I won't go into the details that probably seem trivial to everyone else, but I'll say that this is one of the worst days in awhile. Then again, I've had mostly awesome days lately.

You should listen to this song. It's .m4a, sorry.

I'm all furry.

I bought a big box of wildflower seeds today. I think I might just sprinkle them all around the edge of my yard and see what sprouts.

Every time I get a new issue of WIRED, my career plan is reaffirmed. I love that magazine so much.

San Leandro is full of rude boys.

Everyone is always online on Sunday nights.

I'm tired.

I locked my keys in the car today, outside the hardware store when I was about to go in and make copies of it in case I did something like that. I suck.

My car made it up to Tasha's! And to the marina and back.

I ate a bite of lettuce today. It's okay though, there was spinach too.

Santa Cruz has more cute boys than Hayward.

Highway 1 is my favorite thing about California, aside from my loved ones.

Our trip to Santa Cruz was amazing. Next time will be even better because now we know how to get to the beach at night.

So I already killed the battery in my car. Yesterday I was rushing around going to Walgreen's (twice) before we left and I must have bumped the switch for my lights and left my parking lights on all day and night. We need to find our jumper cables.

May Elvis turn in his grave, and Les Paul kiss my dirty, calloused fingers.

I have hiccups. I HATE hiccups.

THE WHEELZ.

Check that shit out. I am mobile. You are all jealous of my hella sick ride. Maybe I'll give you a ride sometime, maybe, if you're lucky.

Seriously though, I love it and everything that makes it ridiculous.

It looks like a ladybug.

Days like this reassure me that getting out of here is for the best.

(School was okay, even lunch despite the expired mayo.)

I suck.

I always think of the right thing to say hours later.

My cat eats Chow Mein.

I can't believe it took me 18 years to go to a St. Patrick's Day Parade in San Francisco. It was so fun. Plus, there were plenty of attractive guys. Including these Irish boys who were sitting next to us and drinking Corona and Steel Reserve.

I spent too much money and didn't bring enough Bailey's. But it was a success.

Thrift Town had a bunch of good cds and a cute new employee. I got two Eve 6 cds, an old Offspring one, and Dishwalla along with a purple bandanna, another heart mug, and a polka dot fabric covered binder.

The future

I feel like everything is going to happen in a few days. Not that a bunch of things are literally going to happen, but it feels like things I'm not comfortable with will change in a few days. Like I'll be able to go to sleep earlier in a few days, or I won't have to shower in the dark at 6am in a few days, or I won't have this unrelenting cough, I'll start making things again, I'll clean my room, I'll eat healthier. And "a few days" doesn't mean three or four, it's just a cushion between right now (whenever that is) and the time that things are going to change. I don't really like this feeling, it's a mix between procrastinating and anticipation.

Anyway:
-St. Patrick's Day this Saturday
-Santa Cruz next Saturday
-Spring Break in April
-Bright Eyes in May
-Graduation in June
-Fourth of July in, July, of course, and probably Warped Tour
-(I don't know what's in August)
-SEATTLE IN SEPTEMBER!

We're so controversial.

This almost make me want to wear lipstick.

This stuff is made of corn. And the tube itself is biodegradable and has real flower seeds in it so you can plant it when you're done with it. AND $2 from each tube is donated to St. Jude's Hospital.

If I ever do wear make up it'll be stuff like this, if I could afford it.

"Lately mornings feel like I'm not winning."

Beach trip tomorrow. First real beach trip of the year. First beach trip without a parent. I even bought flip-flops, this must be big.

My keyboard is dusty.

Time for dinner.

Yay!!!!

My brother got me a ticket to the Bright Eyes show in Berkeley in May!!

"Hearts aren't made of glass...

They're made of muscle, blood, and something else."

I hate being sick. I hate when little boys get frustrated and think they're men and think they can refuse to do their job. I hate that there are still 5 weeks until Spring Break. I hate not having a car. I hate waking up early.

But it's okay. I feel better today than I did yesterday. I ran in at Trader Joe's for my mommy and then cooked dinner. And then ate dinner. I've been putting off my physics homework for an hour now. I think I might buy a car if I can find either truck w/ 3 seats, a Jeep Wrangler with a soft top, or a convertible for $1200 or less before the end of May.

Hey, it's March! Woo!

3/06/2007

I hate being sick when it's warm out.

I'm still alive. Just sick. I keep feeling like I have to sneeze and then not sneezing. And then I'll sneeze with no warning and no time to prepare. I hate that.

I think my lungs are trying to escape every time I cough.

Yay! Someone offered to buy the tickets to the Against Me! show in Pomona that we bought and then decided not to go to. This way we only lost $7 each instead of $21. Santa Cruz is a much better destination anyway.

I need some of that throat spray that numbs your throat.

Now I should do my homework so I can watch that episode of The Black Donnellys that I missed last night.
