Manda's blasting Yellowcard, again.
In an effort to not get sucked into the LJ universe, I decided to post about interesting things I found.
This is a list of the most popular interests listed on LiveJournal.
I don't find it surprising that the first band on the list is Taking Back Sunday. Really says something about the general population of LiveJournal. Next up is Nirvana, then Radiohead. Then there's suddenly a cluster of bands: The Used, Brand New, Green Day, The Beatles, Dashboard Confessional, and The Cure, all of them almost one after the next. From there the bands start to spread out more.
Another thing that I noticed, there's only a difference of 922 people between the listings of "emo" and Bright Eyes, emo having more. That may sound like a lot, but the total number of people with emo as an interest is almost 100 times that amount, 91035. They're practically synonymous.
Oh, and 229909 people list anime as an interest. That's more than sex. They like anime more than sex. And more than chocolate. More than boys. More than food. Crazy kids.
Of course, music is number one, and love, photography, and computers are right up there near it.
