Jenna's former blog. It will still be here, but she will not be here.
I was so caught up being nervous about my driving lesson today that I didn't realize that tomorrow is orientation/schedule pick up. The lesson went well, though. She only had to press on her break once or twice. And that's only because she MADE me go out onto East 14th when I said I wasn't ready for a busy street. I wasn't going to hit anyone, anyway, she was just overreacting.
My hair came out way-too-dark-blue, so I'm going to shampoo it a million times tomorrow morning, and maybe add some dish soap. I heard baking soda works, too. I want it turquoise. I'm an idiot for dying it the day before picture day. I've done it three times in a row now, and each time it was super dark. Freshman year it was forest green, which came out nearly black. Last year it was a burgundy color, which paired with my pale face, black top, and faux-Celtic necklace resulted in me looking very Goth. Finally, I might have the color I want in my picture if I can get it to fade right.
You know that school in Boston I mentioned earlier this summer? I looked it up in The Princeton Review's list of colleges. Here's how Emerson ranked our of 361 colleges:
-
Students Dissatisfied With Financial Aid--#6 (Great, because I sure won't need any more money...)
-
Their Students (Almost) Never Study--#6 (Can't decide whether that's good or bad)
-
Gay Community Accepted--#9 (It is a theater arts school, afterall.)
-
Students Ignore God on a Regular Basis--#10 (Again, good, bad, irrelevant? Irrelevant.)
-
Best College Radio Station--#1 (Good, very good.)
-
Best College Theater--#3 (See List 3.)
-
Intercollegiate Sports Unpopular or Nonexistent--#10 (Fine with me.)
-
Nobody Plays Intramural Sports--#2 (Fine with me.)
-
Reefer Madness--#20 (Eh, as long as that doesn't hold true with my roommate.)
-
Birkenstock-Wearing, Tree-Hugging, Clove-Smoking Vegetarians--#20 (I don't really fit that category, but I don't mind those who do.)
-
Dodge Ball Targets--#4 (That's more like me.)
-
Great College Towns--#15 (Boston had other colleges further up that list, though.)
Berkeley was only on one list, ranked #20 on the Best Library list. My driving instructor went to Berkeley. And now she's a driving instructor.
