Into the horror of the truth.

The night I got my cat my dad borrowed a pet crate from his friends for my cat to sleep in. But they forgot to mention that we should wash it first so my cat has fleas now. That means my room has fleas. Fuck. Now I have to get flea spray and some medicine for the cat and we'll probably get it for the dog, too. Shit, I didn't want to have to deal with fleas in my room. I feel all itchy and gross now. And my cat never sleeps at night, she sleeps all day and gets ridiculously hyper when I try to go to bed. Then she attacks me while I sleep and I wake up with her claws in my hair.

I can't wait for her to grow up a little and get all lazy and calm like normal kitties.

PLUS, she scratched me while I was trying to make HER a bed. And then she doesn't even use it, the ingrate.

School tomorrow, yuck.

oh yeah...and flea bombs work really well, but you'll have the urge to douse everything you own in bleach.

My parents refuse to use flea bombs. When their roommate moved out of their old apartment and took her cats with her, she left a flea infestation. They used the bombs. My mom says that everything smelt like the poison the rest of the time they lived there and she never wants to smell that again.
We'll probably just use the spray, the smell wears off fast.
