Jenna's former blog. It will still be here, but she will not be here.
It's still quite warm in my room. And tomorrow is supposed to be warmer. I gave up on waiting to wax my legs because I definitely don't want to wear jeans tomorrow. This weekend felt really long, which was nice. I didn't have any homework either. This whole week felt pretty long, actually. I did a lot. I ended up seeing Against Me! with Tasha and Wednesday. It was so great. I had to suffer through Cursive, though, but we had fun mocking them. And we met a cute boy from Pleasant Hill. He was hilarious. But I'm hell of lame and didn't even think of trying to get his phone number. I need to stop being so timid. On Friday I made my way up the giant hill that is the Berkeley campus to see Bright Eyes. Again, SO GREAT. And my brother's girlfriend's sister and her friend are pretty cool this time around, we bonded over AM! and BE trivia. Saturday was Cinco de Mayo. I hung out with Carolyn, Camarie, and Tom. I learned a valuable lesson. Today I slept in quite late and then braved the heat to go get ice cream with Carolyn, Tom, and their friend Jake. We ended up at East Avenue Park just sitting in the grass. Carolyn wants me to be Jake's "date" to CVHS' prom. I can't decide if I should or not. Jake's not that bad, I mean I'm not interested in him or anything like that but I think I could stand him for a night. But I barely know anyone at CVHS and most of the people there I probably don't want to know. I'd be uncomfortable enough at my own prom in a dress and make up and shit, I don't think being surrounded by rude strangers would make me feel any better. I know Carolyn will be there, but as much as she says she won't, she'll probably spend most of her time with Tom. It's prom after all, and you should spend it with someone you care about. I just don't know.
Oh, I added messaging to my phone plan. Now I can send and receive text/video/picture messages without paying a million dollars each time. Send me something!
